Pakistan is a big Non NATO ally for long time now, India just became strategic partner of USA . India cant dictate USA's Pakistan policy. Pakistan has for long time asked USA for weapons as Pakistan and USA has old partnership. And USA us a large military gear supplier.

India is going to have 1,000+ aircraft in the air force in the future.

you need at least 50 squadrons of light,medium,heavy fighters.

Indians are buying some very nice fighters , but obviously we have no Cash unlike Indians , our Corrupt Govt and General are just busy in filling their accounts ...

we dont have much Options but to go for some 16's or Mirage2000's from UAE ... and save money for j-31's .. that will probably come after 2018 ..

well I might of exaggerated a bit, but China is a friend right??? the Chinese fighters probably cost a 1/3 than Western fighters so it's possible to get high numbers and maintain them.

we don't need weapons like pakistan .....what we need is FDI ,technology and higher education

yeah China is a Ally , so as US right ??
or else US should declare Pakistan as enemy state or at least say that we are not friends ...
China is making nice stuff but their birds are not battle tested ... western Tech is advance than china ... for now at least ..
