so 35 billions from Japan, 4 billions from USA and now 30 Billions from China. Win Win Situation for India :D

Most of the agreements are symbolic in nature than anything substantive, but a good beginning. Relations between India and China will be one of the most important international relations of the 21st century.

Last year,a couple of industrial/it parks were being set up by China in Modi's favourite state.Till now, only 18% of land has been acquired.

Under Modi's leadership in Gujarat,MOU's worth 681 billion were signed.Only 10% was actually invested i.e. 68 billion

I am not sure if the earlier $ 20 Bn were exclusive of the current $ 10 Bn agreements?

Leave it kid. U know nothing. We dont need investments in power, roads and electricity from China like u guys. We ourselves have money to do so given the fact our Land Bill is cleared.

We have actually built base for future cooperation in those MoUs. India dont need cash only. It needs information and knowledge and thats what we have got.

In the first nine months of this fiscal year FY14-15, FDI (basically, foreigners setting up or buying businesses inside Pakistan) from every country of the world, including China, was $710m. Chinese share was just some $178.3 million in these nine months. Not compare it to Indian FDI inflows in February '15 = $3.2 Billion. Enough said.

I am not sure if the earlier $ 20 Bn were exclusive of the current $ 10 Bn agreements?

The thing is we can't solely rely on such MoU's and bilateral agreements for FDI. Pakistan might have signed agreements worth billions in the current financial year but the fact is the Chinese invested only $178.3 million in the nine months of their FY. FDI and unilateral investments essentially depends on market sentiment / ease of doing business and potential returns the markets would provide.

Chinese companies especially the private ones aren't fools to invest in market which is full of financial risks - The fact is very much clear that "deeper than oceans and sweeter than sugar" friendships don't work in this era - it's money and business that matters! Same very well applies for India as well. I am not too optimistic of these agreements though some will actually work.

Good for you..
Lets see how much noise Pakistan makes over it compared to ur media's rants on invst in Pakistan.

There is a difference. China invested 46 billion in Pakistan to connect sea to its underdeveloped western regions. China did n't invested in your economy. While 10 billion is investment in Indian economy.

So essentially Chinese are not looking to get back their returns from 46 billion, but they are looking to get back their returns from 10 billion

Let's cut the crap! For your info, substantial will be the high speed rail corridor from Chennai to New Delhi for which feasibility studies are already underway costing $20 million. The project would cost approx $10 billion.

At present Chinese companies are involved in infrastructure development in India worth $40 billion. President Xi Jinping also signed landmark deals during his vist to India in 2014 which will see China investing $20 billion in infrastructure etc.

So that totals up to $80 billion including the recent agreements.

Additionally, Sino Indian trade stands at $70 billion slated to reach $100 billion by next year, compared to Sino Pak trade languishing at a measly $14 billion! :P :D

Cheers!
