India briefs Australia about Pak-sponsored terrorism | Zee News

Last Updated: Thursday, August 27, 2015 - 21:37

New Delhi: India on Thursday apprised Australia about Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in the country, including the recent attack in Gurdaspur and arrest of a LeT terrorist in Udhampur.

During the meeting of India-Australia Joint Working Group on counter terrorism, the Indian delegation gave a detailed briefing to the Australian side on Pakistan's complicity in various terror activities in the country and failure to rein in them.

The Indian side, led by Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs Santosh Jha, who looks after the counter- terrorism and global cyber issues, told the Australian team that the three terrorists who had carried out attacks in Gurdaspur that claimed seven lives on July 27 had come from Pakistan.

They were also told that Mohammed Naved Yakub, who was arrested in Udhampur, is a terrorist belonging to Laskhar-e- Taiba and hails from Faisalabad in Pakistan, government sources said.

A briefing was also given to the Australian side about the existing terror infrastructure along the border in Pakistan and how terrorists are being allowed to infiltrate into India with the active support of Pakistani agencies.

Today's meeting came days after the cancellation of National Security Advisor-level meeting between India and Pakistan where New Delhi was planning to confront Islamabad with all the evidence on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in India.

NSA Ajit Doval was supposed to give a dossier to his counterpart Sartaj Aziz about the failure of Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency, which probed the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case, to investigate the role of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed and the reccee conducted by David Coleman Headley with the help of Pakistan army officers.

Other documents readied to be given to Pakistan include details of Pakistan-based terrorist groups, their activities in India, their camps across the border, presence of 300 trained terrorists in these camps and on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

What india is doing is really clever . I know all Pakistani members will say "bla bla waste of time for India" . But think . India is clearly producing evidence to all the power centers of tte world . Even though india cant bevome permanent member its plan b being played at larger scale . Simce these nations are given / provided with proof now these natioms cant take soft stand on terror states . In this case its Pakistan as per India's evidence.

If in future some kind of sanctions are to be imposed these countries will be under pressure from their home (public opinion on terror) and international image of that country . Very impressive move by our government. Thry hit where it hurts not some random blow. More over all these countries UAE , japan , Australia Germany Europe all enjoys great share of trust with US the big daddy of all . And India already have its own little gangs like vietnam iran russia etc . Watch out pakistan . Time has come to change your mind set . Terror is terror . No other definition you can bring in any more. If you have reservations on kashmir then sit for dialogue .For dialogue to happen peace must prevail. For peace stop nurturing terrorism in yiur backyard .

So after watching these bollywood inspire evidences did they cutt off diplomatic relations with Pakistan ? :-D :-D
Best example ^ lol

And when this "evidence" is provided, what will the world do? Rally around India and Modi to invade Pakistan, dividing up the territories captured and handing them to India, Afghanistan, and Iran? After that, Modi will ascend to the skies and return as Brownn Jesus to bring the entire world under the folds of Hinduism? Gimme a break. Take a look at the countries listed. If countries were this principled, they would have done something about Pakistan in the '80s during the Afghan war. But they didn't. They didn't do anything in the '90s either. You could argue that at that time, Pakistan was useful to their interests so they didn't do anything, which once again tells you that these countries don't care about morals or principles. They sure as heck wouldn't care about "cross-border terrorism" in South Asia when there's a whole freakin' terrorist time bomb ticking in their own countries. There is no "trap" being laid. The whole thing just reminds me of a parent "listening" to a whining child just to get it to stop its wailing. We've had these kind of accusations being hurled and "evidences" being presented for decades now (on both sides) and while these guys have patiently "listened", you'll notice they've done nothing. Why should they do something now? Because India is now a shupa pawa? Because Modi is thumping his #56inchbreast? Like I said, gimme a break.

Well Australia would do something for sure. After all it is supa puwa India that is briefing them. They can't afford to ignore mighty India. May be no Australian bull for evil Pakistanis at this year's eid.

I have said everything I want to say in my previous comments. You keep living in lala land where world will ne ok with terrorism and so you will keep doing what u r doing .. you should rethink the loss you incurring because of flaud 80s strategy . World already had enough anc its gonna get unprecedented . Afghanistan previous president omce said to US " You invaded wrong country" China too cant hrlp you as they will also will become complicit in terrorism. Whivh they are but as of now tgey got away with no proof theory . Not anymore clear cut evidences are been placed in front of global powers . Wonder what made you to ask "What they will do" well think for a second and ask for yourself .

Dont worry our 56 inch chest just got protein boost . You will know when time arrives till then jump arround with slogans " we have nuke" lol

Man, I've never understood PDF indians. They'll go out of their way to tell Pakistanis that geopolitics is influenced by interests and not feelings or principles. When it comes to topics like these, they'll claim that after taking a look at India's dossier filled with the details of ISI's dastardly doings, the world powers, ignited with moral outrage will invade Pakistan and personally hand over Hafiz Saeed, Lakhvi and Dawood Ibrahim to India so they can create a dozen Bollywood movies starring them as the villain. I don't know. Maybe they've spent too much time in the defecation pits. Maybe there's too much yellow elixir in their systems.

I don't know who is keeping who on boil. But you have right to whine to anyone. We are no one to stop you from whining with anyone.

nobody's whining, son.. but India commands many times more leverage in these matters with the "west"

couple things for you to chew on:

first, there is very little appetite for militant islamist causes in the post 9/11 world, they don't want to see the ME cancer spread further into what is a relatively stable area where they have big business interests.

and two, :nana:
