where i am living now has many volcanoes and japan is the country which have the highest number of earthquakes every year (situated over moving tectonic plates). it is kind of creepy living in well within the destruction range of fuji and experiencing good magnitude (approx 4.5 rector scale or above) earthquakes approx once almost every month.
