India, Bangladesh hit with worst flooding in nearly 2 decades

Day of flooding and landslides in parts of Bangladesh and northeastern India have displaced millions of people and left more than 50 dead.

The Water board has waited too long to dredge the Surma and Kushiyara rivers in Sylhet. Haor areas can hold some water but the water needs to flow down these rivers down stream without inundating the banks in Sylhet.

Upstream in India (thanks to kanjoos BJP administration) the dredging is never done. Let their people suffer.
