The moment you truly understand the definition of "Invasion" , you will understand that nothing has changed in Kashmir. The status quo exists in Kashmir. Pakistan will keep seeking a Riasat e Madina, China will keep on beating Indians with sticks, while India will oppress the people of annexed Kashmir and permanently change the demographic of the area.

Actual US has brokered a deal between India and Pakistan not to fight. Pakistan's Establishment & PMIK have given assurance to the US that Pakistan will not get into a war with India.

US wanted India to have full freedom to confront China.
