The main difference between India and China in this concern is the food storage capacity, China is way ahead in food storage capacity through cold storages than India. I would have been please to see more provisions in the upcoming Food Security Bill to expand the food storage capacity in India though construction of more and more cold storages across the nation that will benefit better than just selling rice and wheat at Rs. 2-3 per Kg.....India has enough agricultural production to eradicate malnutrition at one and feed its poor masses but the irony stands there is no proper storage capacity to deal with the same.

Here I would like to appreciate the public private partnership (PPP) model for warehouse management in some of the sates which certainly has improved the profitability and efficiency concerning the same.
