i guess pakistan will loose its transit fee from india-since india is buying the gas at the pak-india border directly from iran ...that means no transit fee......this is one of the advantages besides assurances of gas supply that iran will guarentee

Wrong Iranians will pay Us the transit Fee you will pay it back to the Iranians we still get what we want as there is no incentive for us to extend the pipe line to India but non the less this if it goes through is good news for all parties.

1) Why Iran is sticking on IPI even when IP got official go ahead.
2) Why India delaying IPI affect Pakistan ?

Hope India picks gas from Pakistan border so that will reduce much of headache

1) Terrorist bombing will now be headache of Iran and Pakistan ofcourse disrption will affect India too but the security burden will be shared.
2) Pakistan has to negotiate with Iran on transit fees so India cannot be arm twisted.

If the deal has gone ahead then it was a Smart bargain by India.

Iran is simply looking for market for its gas be than india or China. Pakistan market is already there, regardless.

Indian trying to shift security guarantee and transit fee issue from Pakistan to Iran. But for Iran it does not have to give overreaching guarantee to indians, when they can sell this gas to China at higher price.

Indian plan of by passing Pakistan say in it is just going to fall flat. And if anything else Iranians are not naive as indians like to apply same tactics with everyone.
