In race with Japan, China sweetens bid for Indonesia railway

Watch this video from about 4:30. It show China's new coal power plant is so advance its a model for the world. It captures the CO2 and sells it to coca cola to make sodas.

Pretty cool. We plan to build 35.000MW power plants until 2019, most of them will be coal power plants. Indonesia surely welcome if China ready to invest and bring this advance technology here.

Sorry buddy, but the Ulstra supercritical pressure boilers was not coined by China. That is what it is really called.

Ultra Super Critical Boilers

Indeed, that's true.. and that's what i actually want to said by posting the link. Not China, nor Japan.

That's Japanese propaganda for 'our product is very expensive so we have to give it fancy words to con everyone'.

Supercritical & Ultra-supercritical Technology
New pulverised coal combustion systems – utilising supercritical and ultra-supercritical technology – operate at increasingly higher temperatures and pressures and therefore achieve higher efficiencies than conventional PCC units and significant CO2 reductions.

Indonesia 'leaning towards China over Japan' to build nation’s first high-speed railway, according to SCMP.

i'd like to see more Chinese technologies in Indonesia, as we need to diversify our techs. unfortunately, China is a little too late as SK and Japan were swiftly investing in Indonesia long before. however, it's not too late for China to catch up with them. with China's industrial might, they can invest to other areas like Sumatra for Geothermal energies and Gemstones, or Papua for Gold and Uranium mining.

. . . .
Indonesia need to take cake now. We are just investing $8Billion in Bangaladeshijin now. Another $5 billion for Dawei Project with Myanmar-Thailand.

the project still going on, albeit it's now Middle-Speed train since we studied that the HSR will never reached it's optimal speed since the distance is not even as far like Jakarta to Surabaya.

China still on the competition. what are the Japanese Govt plan regarding this?

Dunno specific but we were ready to write check for $5-6 billion to Jakarta. Instead we now writing check for Bangladesh for $8 Billion for the port and power plant project ,,,, now they also promising Japan a tech city. Bangladeshijjin really really want our business . I think they see opportunity after Jakarta cancel deal.

But on reports I think private Japanese firms are interest in Jakarta's medium speed project. Good luck to you country.

I noticed that lol. A day after Jakarta cancelled the deal, Bangladesh immediately awarded Japan and seized the promise of $8 billion worth in developmental investments.

Akin to "your loss is our gain".

But I would hope that Japan increased more aid with Indonesia. Sumatra, for example, remains practically underdeveloped.

Jakarta will not take loan for luxuries. If Japan ready to invest in our bullet train (Jakarta-Surabaya) or medium speed train (Jakarta-Bandung) we are very welcome. But this need to be handled as 100% B2B projects, because Government will not give any state funding guarantee for this projects.

But for critical, much needed, public infrastructure projects, we will take loan if we have to, since Indonesian government can only fund around 40% of the needed development fund.
