What's new

In my estimate Pakistan has lost $15 Billion - Farrukh Saleem

The DarK economics at work, the economic hitman Dar was appointed as the finance minister for the very purpose, and a defacto PM.

More to it than meets the eye.

It seems someone is building a dollar stockpile by enforcing the artificial exchange rate. Dar for sure involved....not opening the LC is suicidal for the nation ......

Fasten your seatbelt June is a killer for the nation.

Global inflation is easing, The Fed hawkish tightening policy is easing as well, commodities prices are moderating despite will still be quit high.

External environment is getting better for Pakistan. I expect Pakistan currency to stabilize, people comes into stock market again, more USD coming, economy will likely be able to avoid its default possibility,

Trade balance issue will likely persist, but the ability to pay for import will be greater in the next months to come. Export will still be quite hard to pick up for this first semester of 2023 but it is very likely to start growing in the fourth quarter of 2023

This guy is a paid patwari who thinks he is Pakistan 🇵🇰 version of leading global economist.
And the interesting thing is that he is not an Economist but an Statistician who just work in field of economic data.

In past he used to be credible but during last months of IK he made such outrageous propaganda which a high school kid could debunk.

A real example of fall from grace

But . . .

$1.2bn spent on import of cars, other vehicles in six months despite crisis

Why this imbecile of an economist is coming up with such bad but real, actual news who was a big supporter of regime change and coming up with all sort of skewed and fake, fudged propaganda against PTI government on economy and when the economy was rebounding and about to grow faster.

Unless he is a mouthpiece of the Establishment and that they have stopped supporting their imposed PDM government and clearing the ground for a technocrat setup, indoctrination and media blitz that the remedy lies in a technocrat govt.

More guinea pig like experiments on Pakistan.

The blame falls on Pakistani political and military elite - no one truly took a stand to properly govern this nation with a clear plan in all domains.

Today we see a horrible mish-mash of weak attempts that achieved nothing. A clear long-term policy for governance needs to be outlined and people need to be chosen based on merit.

We need our version of Mao or something
