Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced today that it has signed a deal with the Asian country's ground forces to supply "skyscrapers" systems totaling $ 550 million.
The 'Skyscraper' system is a command and control system for an anti-aircraft interceptor system that transforms the customer's long-range air defense systems into accurate and effective systems by means of advanced command and control capabilities and the fusion of information obtained from many sensors, including search and fire control systems and advanced electro-optic sensors from the industry IAI and its subsidiary Elta. The system provides accurate target data for interceptors and manages the threat and fire detection process in an efficient and optimal manner, based on the type of objective that is designed to provide short-range air defense to strategic military forces, By controlling the cannons.
Prior to the signing of the transaction, a large number of operational tests of the system were carried out, in which its capabilities were proven against a variety of objectives. The deal was signed as part of an international tender attended by several leading defense companies around the world.
