Hello people of PDF,

I feel amazed at how visionary our Prime Minister is and how he predicted before Musharraf was even tried for treason.

Here, please listen to it yourself, this is when Imran Khan went into hiding during 2007 emergency.

He clearly says Musharraf committed High Treason and deserves death penalty.

. .
i think constitution is not much sacred than Holy Quran and Hadees and when death penality is not given to non believer in these Holy Books how such punishment be given by breaking constitution, this treason law should be ended and is extreme law which is inhuman

Well remembered. Let’s hope IK doesn’t do a u turn on this one. Actually it may be best here if he says nothing. Judiciary merely pointed out a long known fact.

Is it even possible for the Government to challenge this in the SC, since the Government is the claimant party as the prosecution? Imagine the worse here, a Presidential pardon. Burying your own politics!

I think the verdict was obvious and I wasn't surprised at all but the implementation would have serious implications and the surpeme should prolong the case for few years in appeals and by that time Musharraf will expire. He is already not well... If he was OK it was a different story altogether

Everybody knows that the implementation is not possible, only if this was an elected Prime Minister during 70s.

Symbolic verdict, everyone should move on and not react much, that's the best way to go.

Our current CJ must satisfy the paying party before he leaves office, they would have asked for money back if verdict was delayed.

Today, i salute PM Imran Khan for bringing justice to this vile evil that caused so much death and destruction to our beloved Pakistan.

.
Next will be cases on the parliamentarians who were present during the bill that changed the finality of prophethood oath.

Progressive Pakistan is just around the corner.

What visionary leader he was. Commited to democratic norms. And then he became PM.
