SLOUGH: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan fears that his opponents will pick on his past personal life in an attempt to damage him during elections but said they will not succeed, and he will not be deterred by the personal attacks.

He said it was propagated that President Asif Ali Zardari was a successful leader, but Khan said Zardari had presided over on the back of divisive politics and had failed on every account and not only the law and order situation in the country is out of control but the social and economic system had gone into meltdown too.

“Zardari has managed to rule Pakistan by using carrot and stick policy by giving power to his allies in return for his own safety. He has done a great damage to Pakistan by introducing the politics of Muk Makaa. He has not survived five years in the office by doing any good,” Khan told his supporters.

The former cricketer-turned-politician was speaking at a political fundraiser in Slough on Sunday night which was attended by about 700 people who paid £100 per head to hear the former cricketer and in total donated £135,000 for Khan’s political campaign. Separately, on Saturday night, Khan raised £250,000 during a charity event in Central London, £100,000 of which came from a single donation.

Khan said it was a joke with the people of Pakistan that in the current set-up political parties in the government had their own set of “terrorists who are getting protection from their patron parties”. He questioned how the violence in Karachi can be ended when “political parties have their militant wings and they are asking common people for ransom”.

Taking a dig at those who are leaving his party, including the old and new stalwarts, Khan said: “People can come and go; it will make no difference to our party as we have a solid ideology. No political party of Pakistan can compete with us. I have introduced the true democracy and elected leadership in my party. We have almost seven million members in our party today, and this membership is growing. Our leadership is coming up on the basis of merit and not on the basis of hereditary politics or family links. The youth of Pakistan have rejected the politics of fathers and mothers passing on the baton to their children,” Khan said.

He said the turnout of tens of thousands in his rallies had given hope to Pakistani people. “The change in Pakistan is linked with us giving tickets to the right people. There will be a landslide victory for us if the image of our candidates resonates with the philosophy of our party, and if the people truly believe that their vote will mean change which they desperately need. We will give 25 percent tickets to under 35 year olds.”

Law of nature, what you sow, shall you reap.
IK approached few respectable ladies with personal attack, who simply threatened his popularity.
Now he fear for same! One word HYPOCRITE.

.
In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure. Said by Bill Cosby and exactly applied here on Imran Khan. May Allah SWT be with you IK, stay firm and calm, the destination is almost there - the whole nation is behind you.
