  • Federal minister says Imran Khan has been asking neutrals to intervene.
  • Lambastes PTI's narrative of a foreign conspiracy.
  • Marriyum Aurangzeb says PTI's narrative of conspiracy is a blatant lie.
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb Thursday said that former prime minister Imran Khan could face treason charges for abrogating the constitution of Pakistan as he had tried to prevent his ouster.

During a news conference, Aurangzeb said that according to the Supreme Court’s verdict, Imran Khan had violated the constitution when he was facing a no-trust motion as the then deputy speaker had ruled out the vote of no-confidence against him unconstitutionally.

She was speaking in reference to PTI leader and former deputy speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Qasim Suri’s ruling when he had rejected the no-trust motion against then prime minister Imran Khan, however, SC termed it unconstitutional and restored the NA.

The federal minister went on to say that Imran Khan has been asking the neutrals continuously to intervene, “this is the case of Article 6 for violating the Constitution.

Lambasting PTI's narrative of a foreign conspiracy, Aurangzeb said that if Imran Khan had received the cypher on March 8, why didn’t he initiate an inquiry by setting up a commission.

“Imran Khan should have formed a commission if he already knew about the conspiracy, but he did not hold [an] inquiry because it was a blatant lie,” she said.

Is khatoon ko pichlay 4 maheenon main aur koi kaam nhn except do a press conference every other day against PTI and IK?

It's been 4 months and I have yet to see her spend more than 5 minutes on their own govt policies or direction or governmental measures etc...it's just Imran Khan yeh Imran Khan woh.

Bibi pichlay 2 maheenon say aap keh rahi hain treason ka case karain gay, to phir karo...har roz yeh drama kyun lagatay ho. Musharraf ka to kuch bigar nhn sakay kyunkay ab aap kay aarzi abu nay danda dia hua hai, idhr karain gay case.

More foolish statements are coming from PDM minions, it means the establishment is feeling the heat.

Good move by PTI for keeping it on slow burner.

-- Thanks to my elders for teaching me right side of history from the beginining. Else I'd have been a patwari

.
Hahahahah coming from a party full of treasonous snakes.

. .
I have read somewhere treason case can not be filled against civilians only those sitting in positions of power can do treason awam baghawat or rebellion karti ha

Treason threats/charges are always used by deep state and hybrid governements to silence voices of reason asking for their due rights. This is SOP for them, they expect everyone to follow their own defined partiotism rules.

.
One can hate Imran Khan, but for someone to side with this PDM ilk, this goes beyond comprehension.

She is fit to become NAB chairman. She can look for Imran Khan’s corrupt evidences all day long.

Hope her husband doesn’t mind.

.
Treason charges for standing up for the country, Neutrals are a fcuking joke, these PDM are nothing but pawns of establishment, nani calibiri and her Godfather were constantly bashing the neutrals but nothing happened to them.

Ok - Grow them balls and charge him for treason then.

I hope these Punjabis do something crazy. Let this be the beginning of the end of Pakistan.
this ain't about punjabi or sindhi. IK represents entire pakistan and that's his narrative people are attached him for.
Also - this will be the end of mafias of pakistan, not pakistan. why? because all cover has been blown. mission is compromised.

It’s funny though.

It is sometimes hard to understand these neutrals. They get cursed by names, tell the journalists politician’s corrupt practices with documentary evidence and then they bring them back.

With Imran Khan taking establishment to the cleaners (in between the lines) PTI might come back but seems highly unlikely.

The establishment does not have anything on Imran Khan and with the majority on PTI’s side, at the same time anti establishment, they cannot afford to bring him back. He will be too reckless for establishment’s liking.

The establishment tend to like politicians that are corrupt, docile, knowing their place types. That way it helps the establishment remain at the forefront, in control of country’s strategic policies, keeps their ego, while the country goes to the dogs.
