Imran fell down from lifter

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan suffered a head injury after falling off the lifter carrying him up the stage from where he was to address an election rally in Lahore, TV footage showed.

The 61-year old cricket star-turned-politician fell from the lifter along with other members of his party from 14-20 ft height apparently after they lost balance as the lifter soared to the top of the stage.

The TV footage also showed Imran Khan being carried by his associates in a semi-conscious state to a vehicle which then drove off to Shaukat Khanum Hospital for medical aid.

According to initial reports Imran Khan sustained an injury on the back of his head.

TV footage showed him tumbling down with three or four party activists. The PTI chief was seen bleeding when he was taken away by his party supporters.

Khan was immediately shifted to hospital. He sustained injuries on his head, said hospital sources.

Hes prob the only honest and genuine leader pakistan has.He wasnt much popular before,but now hes the leader of 1 of the 2 main parties in this election.
