During the demonstration, IMI Systems showcased live firing of the "Accular” – a precision rocket for the range of 40 km and the 155 mm accurate shell which was developed by IMI Systems in conjunction with BAE Systems ROKAR.

The demonstration also included a 120kg warhead explosion of the long range Extra rocket, designed to attack qualitative targets in the range of 150 km and an advanced warhead.

Additionally, IMI Systems presented artillery radars made by Elta and able to operate in two modes: tracking launches of a wide range of artillery munitions and ranging artillery batteries along with artillery command and control systems, drones made by Elbit and regional meteorology system made by Mer Group.

And when our army will realize that if you want to bomb gaza and lebanon you don't need intensive air raids which cost a lot of money, instead you can improve your artillery corps?

With your crappy short ranged weapons and "superweapons" as you claim with thousands of kilometers? I don't think so.

.
Current Israeli MLRS systems:

М26
- Standard MLRS rocket . 32/45 km range, cluster warhead. 12 rockets per launcher.
RAMAM (TCS) - 40 km range, cluster warhead, improved accuracy - 50 m CEP. 12 rockets per launcher (replacement for M26).
GMLRS - 70 km range, 90 kg unitary warhead, 10 m CEP. 12 rockets per pauncher.

Romach/AccuLAR-122 - 35-40 km range, 20 kg unitary warhead, 10 m CEP. 36 rockets per launcher.

Extra - 120 kg unitary pr cluster warhead, 150 km range, 10 m CEP. 8 rockets per launcher (not compatible with MLRS launcher)

Artillery is not cheap either, especially when it comes to precision munition. And air force is much more powerful.

cheaper than airforce and more available

GMLRS unit cost is 110 K $. It delivers 90 kg warhead at 70 km range.

F-16C 1,5 hour sortie is about 34 K $. It has some 600 km range and can carry 2 2000 lb bombs (each 18k) = 70 K $.

Airforce provides 20 times more load and 10 times more range at less than 1.5 times cost.

But i talked about shells not rockets

155-mm shell has less than 6 kg explosives and 100 m accuracy. So its effective vs. against large concentrations, big armies. In war like vs. Hezbollah when u fight against small groups in fortified positions artillery is not effective.

I would just wipe out their electricity sources and if they will not surrender wipe out Lebanon with everything we have.

Against hezb it's the best, give all the citiz' 24 hours to evacuate and then flat eveything to the litani with artillery, and use the air force to bomb Infrastructure, electricity, water, roads, bases, fuel stations, bridges, airports, tall buildings, etc.
And support for ground troops

IMI Systems (formerly known as Israel Military Industries) held a demonstration at a test site in Southern Israel for senior officials and industrialists from 17 countries to demonstrate its latest precision long-range artillery systems.

The demonstration was titled “Artillery Systems – the Next Generation,” and included a live-fire demonstration of Magic Spear, a precise 155mm rocket with a 40-kilometer range that’s designed to fall within 10 meters of its target.

Also demonstrated was a 120-kg exploding warhead on the EXTRA long-range missile with a range of 150 kilometers. The missile is designed for precisely attacking high-quality targets from long range.

The event was designed to highlight IMI Systems’ advanced capabilities and to consolidate its status as the world’s leading producer of advanced artillery systems of this type. They were designed to respond to the need for precision long range artillery.

IMI’s products have been qualified for use with the IDF, US Military (Air Force, Army and Navy) and NATO nations. IMI has sold its products to a number of nations, including Kazakhstan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Romania and Chile. The company has 2,900 employees.
