some of the projects are individually fine.

collectively it is a huge bill for pakistani economy to pay for the $60+ billions

you build a motorway for $1.2 billion and expect economic activity to pay for it
if it was that simple every country will borrow $1.2 billion and build a motorway to stimulate economic activity

if CPEC was to make economic sense there would be a focus on Karachi - not parched piece of land like Gwadar
