We have restored the proper name of the island to: 黄岩岛 Huangyan Island already when the sovereignty of which is regained. Better name, much better place, brighter future to come!

Huangyan Island cannot definitely escape China development drive as one of China's sovereign maritime features.

I do not know what sort of hope PH sides derives from US presence. It definitely ain't related to China's construction efforts.

It must be something else we have yet to know. And it must be something very personal.

Infrastructure construction continues in Sansha

Sansha City in Hainan province is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its establishment on Sunday. It's the country's largest city in terms of gross area including territorial sea, and infrastructure construction has been ongoing since its establishment in 2012.

A sewage disposal system and a garbage sorting facility have been recently commissioned on the city's largest island, Yongxing. Through 9,000 meters of newly-built or renovated pipelines, all the waste water on the island can be collected into this sewage disposal system.

After procedures such as sedimentation and sterilization, the disposed water can then be used for irrigation and construction purposes. Nearly all the city's rubbish can be processed through the garbage sorting facility. A desalination plant is also under construction and is expected to be put into use at the end of August.

The land dominates the sea. It is the ownership of the land that gives one rights to the surrounding sea, never the other way around where an EEZ can grant a state claim to land.

Go overthrow VCP first, if you really wish to stand together with the PH.

Otherwise, you are just enticing PH into some foolish action. I am not sure they will be duped into your trap, but, they might.

If I am PH, I will never forget how VN sent a delegate to the kangaroo court in case the PH side mentioned something that harmed VN interests. You did not even provide support during the hearings.

If I were VN, to show solidarity, I would undertake part of the cost of the court proceedings. You can, for example, assume China's costs.
