I can fully recall those times. This marriage was an obnoxious scandal of it's times. Ultimately Mian Sharif prevailed and convinced NS that if we didn't accept this marriage, it would be far darker blot on our family. NS swallowed the bitter pill.

Yeah but sweet romance didn't end well for poor capt Safdar from marriage point of view. Marium was high on hormones that time but her lust didn't end with the marriage. Later after marriage she was on her usual adventures of lust , actually still active and capt safdaf had to make a compromise because of his financial dependency on her and less social status in front of a sharif family. The only thing which prevented the divorce were kids and social stigma fear of sharif family. Else it's no news how much a hubby capt Safdar is inside sharif family and in front of Marium.
