IED attack targets army truck near toll plaza on Peshawar Motorway; one soldier injured [Dawn News] 03 Jan, 2016
PESHAWAR: A soldier was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near a security forces vehicle on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway Toll Plaza Sunday, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.

Eleven soldiers were on board the vehicle, which was partially damaged.

Following the explosion, the motorway was sealed and aerial surveillance of the area was conducted.

Initial investigations by the Bomb Disposal Squad revealed the IED comprised 4 kilograms of explosive material.

پشاور(مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) اسلام آباد موٹروے ٹول پلازہ کے قریب دھماکے کی اطلاع ملی ہے جس میں سیکیورٹی فورسز کے3اہلکار زخمی ہوئے ایس ایس پی آپریشنز نے دھماکے کی تصدیق کردی ہے ۔

آئی ایس پی آر کی طرف سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ موٹروے پر آئی ڈی بلاسٹ کیا گیاجو کہ دیسی ساختہ تھا جس میں سیکیورٹی فورسز کی گاڑی کو نشانہ بنایا گیا ۔ ٹرک میں 11 اہلکار سوار تھے ، دھماکے کے نتیجے میںصرف ایک اہلکار معمولی زخمی ہواہے جبکہ گاڑی کو جزوی نقصان پہنچاہے ۔

میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق پشاور کے داخلی راستے پر موٹروے کے قریب سیکیورٹی فورسز کی گاڑی گزررہی تھی کہ بجلی کے کھمبے میں نصب بم کو ریموٹ کنٹرول سے اڑادیا گیا جس کے نتیجے میں فورسز کی گاڑی کو سخت نقصان پہنچا اور حساس ادارے کے3 اہلکار زخمی ہوگئے جنہیں موقع پر ہی ابتدائی طبی امداد دے کر فارغ کردیا گیا ۔ دھماکے میں 4 کلو گرام دھماکہ خیز مواد استعمال کیا گیا ۔ایس ایس پی رورل نے بتایا کہ دھماکے کے وقت گاڑی میں 15 اہلکار سوار تھے جو تربیلا سے پشاور آرہے تھے لیکن خوش قسمتی سے زیادہ بڑا نقصان نہیں ہوا۔ دھماکے کے بعد سیکیورٹی فورسز کی بھاری نفری جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ گئی اور علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے لیا ۔
