Money can buy happiness , love and Desires .
Luxuries are important , without them life sucks .
Unsatisfied

Spiritual :

Lower to no level of Desires .
Wealth should be enough to sustain self/family .
Life of content and satisfaction .

Life has taught me , MONEY is GOD of Modern world . If you have it , you can enjoy for long you are under the illusion of it .

Money buys spirutiality or is the other way around. Kinda chicken and egg situation. Only thing I know is that none of the babas, gurus, maulvi so or fathers have ever spend a night hungry cause they couldn't afford a meal.

I balance between both as much as I can. Power/Passion (Parvati) + knowledge (Saraswati) are the more spiritual realms and Laxmi (wealth) is the materialistic one. So I think 2/3rds to 1/3rd balance is optimal.

2/3rds help you to explore what life is really about, the 1/3rd gives you the grounding to be able to achieve it.

It is why Hinduism is a very pragmatic philosophy that dates back so long and still going strong.

I believe I am spiritual.

Prefer the lifestyle you've mentioned.

Materialism depresses me.

But maybe that's because I am from a naturesque lifestyle.

Those consultants are not sages.

Some of them genuinely advise people, but others are fake. You know it as well as I do.

Spirituality isn't that.

Please don't equate the two.
