It is a messy idea...I cant find the time nor have the skills to proceed....

Hence the idea has remained as an idea for a very long time...I may have a higher degree but I def dont have the skills for this area!


Yea, Like I told you before I have tons of ideas...but most need polishing!

One of the most effective ways of promoting tourism these days is to invite popular youtubers. Our land's natural beauty and our food are very attractive to tourists. Ideally, we should organize teams in various cities that receive these tourists, help them find appropriate accommodation, give them a basic rundown of local customs, ensure their safety and provide them local information on food and areas.

I know in Europe there are "free walking tours by locals"...So basically locals walk around town and talk about the historic and cultural values of places....the tour guides also tell funny tales about places, people related to the city and stuff...Like in Prague, the tour guide told us about the famous scientists...they have small guess who this person was and stuff like that (everything is within 2 hrs so I think in Lahore old city could pull this off)...Since the guide is a local, they also advice on where to eat and have knowledge of where to visit next and stuff like that..They should also know the roads incase anyone asks for direction.

Then at the end of the tour...you give the guide "tips" ...it is totally up to you...In Europe I have given something from 1-10 euros...depending on the length and interest of the tour...

Only once in Copenhagen did I not complete/ leave the tour coz it was damn boring and was worst tour I had been in! I have taken many of these in Europe on my 1st day to a city coz then it gives you an idea of where you wanna spend more time and stuff...

Most people when making up their minds to travel either hear from friends or go online and search. Thus creating such a website can help the tourist industry of Pakistan.

A professional website/related APP for tourism in Pakistan which shows Not only success stories of tourism of people from foreign countries with pictures but also you tube videos of tourists showing something on VLOG pattern. Its imperative that tourists should be from foreign countries, not Pakistanis from other cities, though that can help too in between.

This can be enacted easily through PDF members who live abroad. When they visit home back in Pakistan, they bring along one friend/colleague from the foreign country they are living/working in and take that friend/colleague for a trip to tourism places inside Pakistan and take pictures, make videos, get reviews etc. The website should produce a separate page for every tourist and his experience touring Pakistan. There should also be longer-form videos profiling local residents who are proudly promoting their destination in a natural, authentic voice. Describing individual cities and areas from all provinces is better, and developing proprietary mobile-friendly maps customized to the destination. An APP has to be created which shows restaurants/coffee shops, Police stations, Hospitals, Religious centres, markets and malls, transport services like taxis, bus stops, trains etc, as well as link up tourists using that APP with other tourists visiting same area and using APP. Also festivals, concerts, hang out areas, sports and other recreational spots; all which could be currently happening in that season. The website should be linked to Youtube VLOG's about Pakistan and serve as a collective data base for all the tourists who visited Pakistan and gave reviews on social media after that. A 24 hours helpline chat service on the website or the APP can also be useful.

The website can be enhanced to manage tour packages/plans and help with selecting airlines and flights apart from Hotels and transport services. The website can also be linked to major tourist websites of the world so it shows up in google search for Pakistan tourism.

@Dubious for starter i was thinking and making queries.does not it better to get PAkistani tour operators on baord who already in field in many years and got good reputation ??? First someone need to check their services going on their any tour (forgive me never had any interest in cold areas ) ,also making our contacts.That way in start all u have to focus on marketing side till make your own ground conatcs .Also can collaborate laters with travel loggers like one i mention they got their own following and for all such trouble will share pasrt of profit with them.win win situation for all parties and as being overseas Pakistanis they can promote (also kinda home base part time business ) for them living there
