There should be an option to delete your account.

Right sometimes, people want to start over. So instead of a new id they can delete their history (for normal users not mods) and move on.

I would like to explain what actually my suggestion was,
now a trend went on of changing name and sometime it is hard to identify the member i knew by discussion style, mindset, views, information etc, so it will be good to have previous name with new one for particular time.

It is not connected with any dual ID or some thing like that.
I hope it is clear now.
