IAF confers honorary Group Captain rank on Tendulkar
India's renowned cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is all set to gain another feather in his cap with the Indian Air Force sending a proposal to the Defence Ministry to honour him.
Indian Air Force has proposed to confer the rank of Group Captain to the legendary cricketer. He also added that Sachin is an ideal role model and an iconic figure for the youth of the nation and this step will further influence the youngsters to join the IAF and chalk out careers as air warriors.
