All you people do is look at the bad and point out the bad. You cannot see the bigger picture here. You will keep selecting the bad things and beat it do death while overlooking the good.

I see this all to often, matter of fact I see this all the time. Negative thinking here and there. Always pointing out the bad aspect of things and always overlooking the good. This is one of the reasons we are a third world nation.

What ever Musharraf may have done in the past that you do not agree with it certaintly does not outweigh the positive things he has done.

Musharraf has done far better than Sharif and Zardari. Look at our crime rate when Musharraf was in office and look at it now. Look at the economy when he was in office and look at it now. Look at the communications skills of Zardari and compare it to Musharraf when it comes to foreign policy. Zardari is not an effective or intelligent communicator he has Qureshi doing all the communicating and thinking for him.

I want Pakistan to be a self sufficient developed nation by 2050, and the way we are going we going we will not reach it for another 200 years.

a) Bold
b) Intelligent
c) Educated
d) Articulate

Great states man , friend etc

And someone who makes decisions (tough but correct decisions)

a) Coalition with US - bold move and just move
b) Coalition with Nato - bold move and just move
c) Protecting Pakistani intrest in tribal areas - bold move
d) Expanding Pakistani ports - amazing move
e) Economic benefits - bold move needed
f) Action against militatants - bold move needed

To blame him for Pakistan's current situation is not correct since war was inevitable in our neighbourhood

The only disappointing thing was the judicial issue but that was probbly a campaign to get him out of power position by all the currupt politician parties ...

We could use another 4 year term under Musharif Sahib

How many ppl shed a tear when leaving office and missing his work ??

Every one else has millions stolen and transferred over in countries ... so he has to return it would be ideal for our nation

things he should have done because he had the ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY:

1) build kalabagh dam

2) develop gawadar and get it functioning

3) improve economy by helping industry not by making only new banks & improving telecommunication(giving license to UFONE,TELENOR,WARID,ZONG etc!

we don't need another leader who lives abroad and gives telephonic conferences!

OUR leader should live in Pakistan & lead the nation from pakistan!

musharraf can plan whatever he wants but he'd probably stay away from Pakistan let alone take part in any election. What, violating the country's constitution and slithering has way into power like a serpent wasn't enough? every decision and action that man took while in power is illegal and he should pay for it and be held accountable for it. He wants to run in the election, huh, the bundles of money he stole from the nation and the US in the name of WoT, just sit on it in your lovely UK home and enjoy it while it lasts. Money isn't everything.

These serpents of leaders we're destined to live with, some we vote for, others who are forced on us, god knows what engine of greed drives them that they're never full and crave for more and more. The entire country lives literally in the shadows and darkness, of poverty, terrorism, hunger, debt you name it and these freaking leaches we call leaders, they never stop sucking and swallowing and engulfing anything and everything for their own personal leisure. God only knows how cold and black their hearts have become that they don't feel anything.

Musharraf was true to Pakistan, was personally not corrupt as all the other politicians are, and he genuinely cared for the country. Keen to see him come back home.
