We have been hearing from our trolls about Uncle Sam sanctioning Bangladesh.

In the meantime, our exports to USA increased by double digits this year.

America is increasingly becoming a violent repressive society!

Gun violence is out of control.

Their big cities are going through a crime wave.

And censorship is akin to Stalin era.

Uncle Sam sanctioning Bangladesh.
There was no rumor of direct sanction against Bangladesh. USA will and already imposed sanctions against some individual Bangladeshis with proven record of human rights violation.

USA always helped us.
America is increasingly becoming a violent repressive society!
Yet bright people from all around the world want to immigrate to USA.
Gun violence is out of control.

Their big cities are going through a crime wave.

And censorship is akin to Stalin era.
Yet, USA is the most innovative country in the world.

It doesn't matter to me. I just find the hypocrisy of enjoying all that the West offers while denying the same freedoms to others amusing, that is all. :D
so many guys on PDF are like this. Flying western flags but foaming at the mouth about western freedoms and wanting to implement their version of Islam in Pakistan.
Funny enough, they get belligerent when you suggest they move to their beloved ISLAMIC republic of Pakistan.

They always need a reason to feel "oppressed"

100%
They are free to be as Muslim as they want to be in the west but somehow people advocating for human rights in Pakistan are oppressing them.

Do you think my forefathers came to Britain to enjoy “human rights”?

They came purely for economic opportunities and education.

And the reason their children, like me, are now permanent citizens is because of economic and educational opportunities, hygiene, clean air etc

People have always migrated for economic reasons and always will!

So why stay once you have made it?
You people could live like kings in your own countries now... yet you choose to stay in the Kafir west.... could it be due to the human rights?
It it was truly only economic reasons, then you would not stay in the west a day longer than you need to. Yet you are having children and setting down roots.
Why?
oh right... human rights.

Because to get the same lifestyle in Bangladesh would cost me three times more money.

And I could not earn three times more there. My wealth would run out rapidly.

Take water for example.

Only thing that comes close to British tap water is branded bootle water. Which is expensive!

When I am in BD - I spend a fortune on bottle water. Every time I brush there - it costs me 50 taka.

Then schooling for my kids…

Even top notch private schools in Dhaka doesn’t come close to the worst state school in my little corner of Home Counties.

I could never drive in the chaos of South Asia. I would need a driver - again more cost…

In summary, democracy and human rights is bottom of my list.

Safe food, outstanding education and clean air Trumps everything!

I have no idea what prices are like in Bangladesh, but I have been to Pakistan many times and I could live like a king on the salary I make here in Canada.
The funny thing is that everything you listed is DUE to democracy, freedom and human rights.
It's like saying "I only want to eat good food and pots and pans are at the bottom of the list of things I care about"
Bro, you need the pots and pans to have the good food.
