The second thing the author is wrong about is that average Pakistanis get similar warmth and welcome in India.

That can be because of proportional representation in society of the BJP party whose membership is about 110 million.

Unless, India resolves the issue of Kashmir, in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiri people; peace cannot be achieved. All else is beating about the bush.

Tell me, if the Kashmir valley becomes part of Pakistan, does the current Pakistan promise them a welfare state ??

Why would Kashmir valley be essentially become part of the Pakistan. They may well choose to remain with India or become independent. So, your question is not much relevant.

Why an Indian who came to Pakistan need to eulogize and talk about the hospitality, friendship, similarities in culture, language to the people of Pakistan, these kind of articles that talks about people to people contact between India and Pakistan need to be printed in Indian mainstream media but no Indian media it seems can print such articles as fear of backlash from Indian hardliners is there.

A lot of media houses in India is controlled by the current BJP govt...yes some left leaning media like NDTV, India today can dare to do that..but seems they are also toying the BJP lines to get the govt. ads and the money to keep their business running.


No one in Pakistan can even think of doing this to an Indian even if threatened with death...
