@Tirtha-Nepal , welcome to the forum. Good to see a nepali here. We can know the nepali point of view regarding Indias hegemony. Many Indians say nepal just love Indians and don't mind India's nose-poking.

As for what can nepal do, well first of all they can enhance trade and diplomatic ties with china. Reduce dependence on India as much as possible as China can give 10 folds of what ever India can ever comprehend to give. India just wants to use nepal as buffer against China , nothing else. Second enhance ties with the west specially US, UK, germany etc. Maintain a strictly give and take relationship with India like asking for access to BD ports in return to giving Indian companies restricted access to nepali markets and projects. Buy military hardware from china, PAK and eastern europe and monitor movements of pro-indian people in your country. That would go a long way in safeguarding nepali sovereignty.
