God helps those who help themselves. He laughs at idiots who think prayer is an alternative to good hygiene and physical preventive measures.
Physical preventive measures are ok but people are oblivious of the power of prayer. Imam Ali A.S had immunity against hot and cold only because of prayer.
As I said it is another dimension of taking protection. Take it into account as well.
