How to obtain private pilot license in Karachi?

Hi,

I am interested in obtaining a private pilot license and currently looking for personal opinions and recommendations in this regard. I have checked the Karachi Aero Club website and they claim to be the oldest club in Pakistan. Does anyone have any experience in dealing with them? I also need to know how can I obtain Class 1 or class 2 medical certificate? What are the requirements and how easy is it to obtain it? I have weak eye sights so can this issue restrict me from obtaining this certificate?

I think you need more than 40 flight hours of training for general aviation. I don't know how it is in Pakistan but it is cheaper to get flight hours in USA (I got during mine during BSAE at Embry) than Sweden so now I have a certificate for 55 flight hrs though I have flown a lot more.
You need to be in good health. That is mentally and physically. Good eyesight and hearing. Also be able to understand the radio communication and the protocols, know a little bit about flight mechanics & performance.
