How to land Jet without nose gear....

Pretty neat...

Certainly its pretty neat. But only a STOVL aircraft like a Harrier can do that.
Reminds of an incident where a Jaguar (which is a conventional fighter) of the IAF came in to land with a jammed nose gear. The pilot skillfully did a 'floater' all along the runway on the main-gear and then gently rested the nose of the aircraft at the end of the run. Two days later, the aircraft was flying again; the damage was so little.

W/Cdr. K.Suresh has written about that and also described the technical cause of the gear malfunction which was attributed to a design deficiency by BAE (who built the aircraft) in a hydraulic pump. HAL modified the design which was then accepted by BAE subsequently; without paying anything to HAL, only because the contract allowed them to absorb all changes made by HAL.

Only possible with an aircraft capable of landing vertical, none the less a textbook touch down.
Now take a look at this, must say a brave guy for a little error and he could have been crushed.

Thats a Nissan frontier advertisement :sarcastic:
Well give the man a cigar, he's managed to get the drift......all by himself.
Does anyone really thinks that the likes of CAA would even remotely consider such tactics.
However, a similar feat was achieved with a small private aircraft.
