I hate monopolists though there are some places where monopoly is necessary to gain better control for example electric supply and transport.

Wasn't you aim to make Money or to think about " Better quality control"?
As for your potential "investment" you don't need to find the "Ultimate" /"Best" thing...
Just check Monopolies in areas your are familiar with and do it.

Here an example from a friend...I enjoy to tell to those searching for the Graal when they want to "open" a biz or "Invest"
Got a friend who is a Doctor, so you may think he will jump on Biz around his area of expertise?
Well, he didn't... But he likes " Eggs"
What he found out...is the local Mayor was buying the Eggs for the entire Gov structures/schools (cafeteria) to only one "Company" for almost 15 years now... without passing via "public offer".

So... He made a bunch of contracts with enough farmers to supply the needed amount of eggs and gave his "offer" to the Mayor with a 15% Discount from his previous "contract".
He put ahead the advantages of buying from Local producers and etc... and got the contract...
It's been 5 years now... and his supplying almost 28-30 Villages/small cities... with around with few Millions in profit/y. (Well not only Eggs today...)
80% of them had only "One supplier" for decades...

It's just an interesting story.

interesting with big potential though here in pakistan you need to bribe government officials to get such tenders or at least need some serious PR and high level contacts. Corruption is everywhere in the government sector here.But in private sector such monopolies can be exploited.

I don't know much about Pakistan "Ecosystem"
But try to sort out "Monopolies" in areas you are "familiar" with or "Competent in" (Doesn't mean in your area of expertise, but in Department, you can easily learn/want to learn)
