Let's talk seriously for a moment.

Just what is it that is being fought against? And who are supposed to be fighting this good fight? If you answer "militant Islam" and "moderate Muslims" then know that this will work only within the context of the liberal and secular societies in the West, not in the Muslim-majority countries. People like Ms. Nomani can create awareness and question dogmatic authorities in USA and publish a few op-ed pieces and do a few interviews with good soundbites, but that is about all that can be done. The majority of Muslims in USA at least (Europe is a different case) are moderates anyway and will pay heed where needed. None of this will apply to the Muslim-majority countries. They are hell-bent on self-destructing themselves and the rest of the world can only watch and try to contain the fallout, that is all. This has been a long time in the making.

Except much of the rest of the world isn't watching and trying to contain the fallout but is instead opening the gates and letting the monsters in. Europe and to a lesser extent the U.S. Until more people like yourself speak out loudly and publicly that might not change.

Europe is learning the errors of its ways quickly, but I am quite sure USA will not be making those mistakes or watching silently. Trust me, I am doing my part, but there is no need to trumpet anything.

Whoever did it, my point is that the old order is in the process of disintegrating, just like with the Soviet Bloc, and once this process is completed, the rebuilding will begin in earnest. The implosion will remain contained in defined areas.

What argument are you making here, exactly, Sir? Changes occurring now, just like for the Soviet Union, will be a combination of internal dissent and argument, reinforced as necessary by outside support. And my opinion is supported by the events.
