How Pakistani-Americans are entering interfaith and interracial marriages — and making them work

Phir azad ho gya hay bai :D

Kya hall hai india ka ajj kal? Garmi kaisi par rai hay wahan?

Better hai. Kuch din beech mein baarish hui. Temperature came down.

If rains are good this year, markets should surge, along with GST.

Gearing up for that. Sanghis look like coming under control after the slapping they are getting. New job creation numbers are staring the saffron chashme in the face. And state government under attack for looting middle class with rampant taxes on petrol.

How are things with you and Pakistan?

oh man bride is so gorgeous
groom ko tu lagta kisis ne zabardasti pakar kar bithaya ha but well miyaan bVrazi kia krey ga gazi ..best wishes to them

In my opinion no matter how pious women is she never approve sharing husband with other women. Just another islamic law made while ignoring women rights.
I just read this news few days ago
Woman throws acid on husband for contracting second marriage
https://www.geo.tv/latest/143037-woman-throws-acid-on-husband-for-contracting-second-marriage

its about culture I guess ..middle eastern women are more comfortable in sharing husband as compare to women in Pakistan culture and else where who are not used to this

How are things with you and Pakistan?

My television was again attacked by the youngest one and this being the third one I have decided not to buy new one any time soon, so I am not enjoying the frustration spread by those news channels anymore. I have heard our PM is still the same old ogre who was PM when I was ten years old and had the chance to see him in real life.

Except for that nothing unusual happened, Ramzan is near and I am sure prices for commodities will go up (further), then we all Pakistani Muslims will observe ramzan with the same zeal we observe it every year.

Weather in my place has been pleasant for one last week, cloudy, rain shower, but I somehow wish that next four months just pass away without me feeling them.

Gar pay sab theak hain?

But he look west Indian more than somalian or Nigerian..
remember west indian cricketer carl hooper?
but well I am quiet surprised considering that Pakistani even hesitate to marry outside their ethnic group let alone marrying with different nationality as they don't live in multi national society where such thing are norm

It helped me read books after books ...... :D

Barbaric and cruel, people targeting and killing children and innocent common unarmed citizens are cowards and shame to humanity.

@El Sidd DNA is just a written code.. It needs some influence to decode itself and show a specific behavior in a person... You influence a person to be arrogant or to be soft. Actions are not only pre-determined they are "acquired" too.

Thank you.
This is quite a new topic for me.

So this said 'written' code consists of 'markers' which trigger themselves based on influence as I understood. These markers are triggered or influenced by behavior or other 'transmitted energy'.

Somebody was telling me recently how 'death' is being predicted these days by DNA analysis and it got my attention.

Muslims are human beings, and are thus subject to human nature as all humans are. It is human nature to want to marry in your own which most people do anyway when left to their own devices.

Strongly disagreed. Islam is the "way of nature" and every newborn is born with nature that aligned with the teachings of Islam and thus when a non-Muslim embraces Islam, he or she is referred to as "reverted to Islam" not converted to Islam for the simple reason of that person returning to his/her original nature i.e. Islam.

As I said those might be your thoughts and I must say those totally flawed. You are giving the wrong impression as if the inter-racial marriages are discouraged or restricted in any way by the religion itself.
So study the religion before you comment and spread ignorance.

Why is it weird? It is their life....as long as both are Muslim and they consented to this marriage without any coercion... it should be totally okay.

Don't get frustrated. Makes your argument look weak.

Secondly, as I already said, never in the past 1400 years of Islam were Muslims a part of one large single empire mixing away with each other. But rather they had their own separate nations. You conveniently refused to address that point. And I take it that you don't have a legitimate argument other than accusing me of "spreading ignorance" due to your own frustration.

And yes, human nature does desire separation. That fact that Bangladesh separated from what they perceived to be "Punjabi" suppression of their national identity, or that Arabs revolted against Turkish rule, or that North Sudan (Arab) and South Sudan (Black) have been slaughtering each other proves my point that naturally human beings (which Muslims are) separate and live with their own kind.

Nowhere did I say that or imply that. You are misunderstanding. I said that it is neither encouraged nor discouraged. Rather it is completely left to the personal decision of the individual. There is no golden rule in Islam that states "you must mix away otherwise you will go to hell".

As I have already said read the history before making posts out of ignorance. Clear your wrong assumptions and then come clean if you want to discuss. I don't want to waste my time in useless arguments.

Hi,

For that reason---the insurance agencies in the USA cannot use DNA analysis to sell life insurance---.
