Current debt of Pakistan: 105 Billion US Dollars or 35 trillion PR (may be more than that)
It is increasing at supersonic speed.

Pakistan's most expensive debt was taken by Asif Zardari's govt. The interest rate was 16%+ for that amount.

It seems impossible for Pakistan to pay it back. Despite the interest we are paying is 7+- billion PR on daily base.

How other countries did it!

For repayment of external debt we have to increase our exports and reduce our imports.
For internal public debt we have to pay our taxes.

. .
PTI has the answer. Alas, if only PTI was in power today, visionaries like them would have already removed debt.

Apart from Sarcasm, have you seen actual performance of the government. Government current account deficit which is the main factor of external debt has reduced by 30% in a year. This is a big achievement.

Do you even understand the OP and understand the difference between 105 billion USD and 3.5 trillion rupees? Why those amounts are not reconciling?

I'm sure that will have severe consequences. Besides Pakistani leaders will never do that because how will they borrow again? Their thirst is money never stops.

already inflation is at peak and basic food items like vegetables are becoming out of reach of middle class.there is lot of mismanagement by govt in handling economy and there are no signs of debt reduction in near future as economic growth is also facing decline

So, Let me get this straight, you are advocating that we simply refuse to pay the debt and it will magically disappear?
For argument's sake, we listen to your brilliant idea (sarcasm in case you didn't get it). How do we run the country how do we buy goods afterwards or pay our bills at home, since most of Pakistani are refusing to pay taxation. I'll quote a few geniuses who claim (we will not pay taxes as we didn't vote for IK). So please give us the guidance we so badly need.

I have no interest in bickering with PTI supporters. After one and a half year, i have learned something.

When you see a PTI supporter, don't look and go the other way. When you beat them with logic, they will insult you and call you a patwari and haramkhor. From that point onwards, anything you say, they will speak only about Nawaz Sharif. You say look this is what PTI promised, they will say this is how Nawaz Sharif shits in his toilet. You say there is inflation, they will say Nawaz Sharif didn't wear underwear today. You say loans, they will say Nawaz Sharif farted at 5 PM today.

I have no interest in being insulted today. I gave my opinion, i am done. You youthiyas, jiyalas, patwaris go and believe your leader is an angel from sky. Don't drag me into this mud.

Rather than crying like a girl can you please respond to the facts I stated?

PTI fan or not, I am quoting you numbers and facts. If you disagree with me then disagree with a logic or fact rather than putting up an emotional speech.

sir am just asking why our exports are declining after so much subsidies and is there any chance to improve it in near future?

The Argentine way of defaulting is a destructive way. The Peso worth almost nothing now. They have among the highest interest rates in the world. Argentine bonds are considered junk.
For Pakistan , the debt is not necessarily an issue if it is carefully managed. Every country has debts, even some advanced economies have more than what Pakistan has. Domestic revenue collection is an area of concern for Pakistan rather than foreign debt repayments. Pakistan has a stable B- credit rating by S&P.

and PTI has no magic lamp or something, so you assume that PTI rub this lamp and all problems would be solved within seconds, its take time to improve economy

sir am just asking why our exports are declining after so much subsidies and is there any chance to improve it in near future?

Multiple factors.

For popularity we kept exchange rates attificially high as a result our products became expensive.

Our businesses are ineffecient are hence our products are expensive.

Due to brain drain since 90s we lack professional and skilled labor and hence you hardly see any local finished products made in Pakistan.

There is hope in future. Last month i met with Dr. Ishrat Hussain and he told us that whatever happening in the front by SBP MoF and FBR are short term measures for stability. For long term objectives he and his team is working on capacity building of Pakistan. Last week launch of kamyaab hunarmand program is one such example. Only hurdle is political instability due to which investors are reluctant to take risks.

In our professional circles we are hopeful as difficult decisions have already taken niw its time to remain steadfast. These couple of years are tough but if we keep on continue we might see a permanent change in 3 to 4 years time
