How Much Area Indian Sub-Continent lost in Last 400 years Especially Last 100 Years

Unnecessary discussion. The very first few words says it all..

Whether called the Indian subcontinent or South Asia, the definition of the geographical extent of this region varies

Still there is an unnecessary debate started by @ArsalanKhan21 which is supported and debated by many so called intelligent minds.

Cannot we learn to ignore the unnecessary statements and concentrate on the topic actually.

OT, the Indian Subcontinent is a physical representation and the content of the article talks about political aspect of the nations. Both cannot be looked from same prism as political entities can span and had in past expanded beyond the physical boundaries of the sub continent.

South Asia = India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan

Geographically, all of south Asia, that is Indian plate, which is subcontinent. But Politically only India Pakistan B'desh

Open to interpretation.. Indian sub continent is basically the landmass that is greater India, Bangladesh,Nepal and parts of Pakistan.. The rest is included in the term South Asia.. The term Sub continent by it's very meaning excludes Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Which are islands not continental land mass

These are quotes from the very links you have posted above

It includes all of India, as well as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and (parts of) Pakistan, and there seems to be no definitive agreement on the exact landmass content regarding Pakistan.

Whether called the Indian subcontinent or South Asia, the definition of the geographical extent of this region varies. Geopolitically, it had formed the whole territory of Greater India,[6][31] and now it generally comprises the countries of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.[1] Prior to 1947, the three nations were historically combined and constituted British India.

So year there is no definite geographical definition to it.. South Asia is more apt
