After the high profile humiliation of it's pilot getting shot down and being captured in Pakistan and then seen slurping tea under captivity. The IAF in a desperate attempt to hide the insults being dished out by social media and in military circles have come up with their own version of Coffee Mug supplied to Indian Airforce Officer's Mess.
Gives a whole new meaning to the proverb, ''If you can't beat them, then join them''.

If Pakistanis are entitled to believe they shot down an Indian Su30 MKI, Indian too are entitled to believe they shot down a PAF f-16.

May be India should have followed Pakistani footstep and erected a similar commemorative structure to celebrate shooting down of F16.

Yea, the difference is no PAF aircraft was shot down and no Pakistani pilot ejected or was captured.
However, you are reminded of how the Indian Air Force/ MOD and media first denied losing any aircraft or pilots.....that was until Abhinandan appeared on PTV with a cup of tea.

Those were unconfirmed media reports quoting unnamed sources and not the official versions of IAF till the official info was released in the media.

In Pakistan's case, none other than DGISPR had to retract his own statements on actual number of Indian pilot(s) in Pakistani custody.

If you are going to make an issue out of confusion and mistakes in Indian media , how do you explain ISPR bloopers when ISPR is supposed to have far better access to authentic information than any news media house.

Thanks for the giggles. Unconfirmed reports from unnamed sources have also claimed the deaths of scores of PLA soldiers in Galwan, which Hindustan quotes ad nauseam on these very pages and has already added to its eternal history books and begun filming movies on. Make no mistake - until we showed the bloodied face of Nandu bhai, Hindustan would have relentlessly denied his existence, let alone his shoot down and capture. IAF had to make statements because of the video footage, otherwise IAF would have stood back and permitted the b.s. narratives being propagated on your qom's media programming.

The ISPR clearly explained the confusion as several sources were reporting on same incident.
It's called fog of war.....if you recall an Indian soldier was awarded a posthumous medal but few days later he walked out of hospital.....
As for Indian MOD, at one time they were maintaining that Abhi's MiG malfunctioned over India so he had to eject but the draft carried his parachute into Pakistan....I guess his several ton MiG was so heart broken that it decided to follow it's pilot.
