Warfare won't last years now. Long wars will only last months or a year at best.

China also does not have the stomach to fight long wars. If they do, it's not going to be an advanced war.

By the time any of our adversaries get the capability to fight long wars, we will have indigenized pretty much our entire military. That's 2035 at the minimum for China and 2048 at max, both dates given by the Chinese themselves. That's plenty of time for us as well.

And why should we invade anybody? Our military leaders have also clearly said that if our weapons lead to a conventional conflict then someone has failed to do their job. Our weapons are like a stick meant to keep the dogs away, not become a dog ourselves.

Their date for superpower equivalent military capability is expected in 2048, but you can advance that date if you want. That's still plenty of time for us.
