That's maybe true my friend, but we need to be aspiring to live in a free society free of fear.

Humans are social creatures in nature. Which means you are bound to scarifice some of your freedom to the society.

I lived in a Georgian town where it was a bye law to possess a gun. There was sure no crime and not even a swear word or aggression from anyone. The closest I have seen to crime free area.

Georigian town can not represent whole America. Free from fear is most basical freedom. More public cameras will eventually eliminate violent crimes in China. China will be paradise.
