I'll tell you how I am preparing bro. I am calculating the Zakat I owe to the poor, and I am topping it up with more Sadaqah, in order to get maximum blessings.
On a side note, I have ironed my shirt for the morning prayer in the masjid.
Phoned my mother and placed my order for tomorrow's family meal.
I will phone all my friends and family wishing them Eid muabark.
I will wrap gifts for my kids, and make their day.
I will visit my family and enjoy their company.
I will read 2 rakat nawafil for the prosperity of of the Muslims in the world, and the Non-Muslim folk.
I will then send salam on my beloved Rasool(saws), his companions, his holy family, the saints, the great folk of the ummah past.
My final act will be to do dua for the world, the people, the blessed animals and then sit down and stare at he sun going down.

That's the best...I can just envy you bro...God bless.
I got the dress
But I have paid the zakat-ul-fitr (aka fitraana) already. My parents are in Pakistan so it is bit sad for me but my brother will join me from Palo Alto ... later today, we will meet some Pakistani families here.
