I had discrete maths last sem!
its one of the worst subjects, its basically about sets and trees and graphs. Boring stuff for me. This time we got Theory of Computation.

Just started a unit called D1 which is basically about doing calculations like computer.

I also studied statistics and Mechanics which were pretty cool and way better than pure maths as there seemed to be a sense of direction and purpose behind the calculation.

It is a favourite arguement of Brit kids against maths to say "well I ain't gonna need to use that in real life am I" about topics such as geometry.

pure math is logic of math like tipology,mechanics mainly base on trignometery,geometry both have important roll in aero space industry,in BSc if you have double math then a big part of math_B is pure math, and in MSc math first year you will study both maths and 2nd year you have chiose to slect pure or applied math.
