Homeland season 4 was supposed to be in Turkey with the subject ISIS. Also shootings were supposed to be done in Turkey.

Turkish officials set a rule though. "We will be present in every shooting place, we will inspect the script and the shooting, if we find anything that can be harmful to Turkey's reputation in anyways, we will confiscate the films...."

So, makers gave up.

Is it shot in Pakistan or some other country? If in Pakistan did govt see the script before giving permission

Another thing I noticed. I can easily understand the Urdu being spoken by Pakistanis. Very similar to Hindi

I am watching season 4 and its one hell of a funny bullshit. They have even shown USA ambassador husband recruited by ISI, they are dam good when it comes to making crap I must say every member of this forum should watch that season 4.
