HK protesters’ five demands meant to ‘humiliate’ government, won’t solve city’s issues: Singapore PM

.
Never say never. But yes, the current government of India is idiotic and creating friction in India.
I really do NOT want to offend you or Indians in general and no intention to politicize this. But India was a geographic concept not a country. There was no country called India before 1947 in history.

But China 中国 has been existed for thousands of years. We Chinese united as a country, a civilization for thousands of year, while Indians never was, not even today.

As a country, it needs a mainstream culture, a language, dominate ethnic. India does NOT qualify any of those criteria.

To maintain a country, it needs resources, legitimacy, national defense, and many other things. India today does not qualify any of those criteria.

India elites are greedy and selfish, the super rich robed the country. The political system is bureaucratic, the politicians are incompetent. The majority of the people only care about self-interest.

I am not saying India will dismembered, but just list the facts and risk India is facing.

While China may be dismembered before 1990s, there are chances our enemy can take, and we made mistakes as well. But the window has closed, there is no chance to dismember China in foreseeable future.

No poll has been done with that question so no one can give you an answer. If you really want to know go fund a poll yourself.

So only poles data are acceptable to you?
(I don't think you actually care about the poles, you are just saying that to deflect the fact that most likely majority of people will not want to live under CPC)

Also, 2 million HKers out of 7 million are out protesting so we can safely count those people as not wanting to join CPC.

Repeating same old BS, fake free vote whatever you want, between corporate sellouts and corrupt warmongers, you are fast becoming a third world country
Why are you so angry?

.
and you think they can do no wrong then you are being a direct hypocrite right now (something you love to accuse the west of) by using a VPN and breaking CPC law.
Who says using VPN is breaking any laws? VPN advertisements are everywhere on all Chinese sites and anyone can use it if they want to, many companies run this business in China, which law it breaks?

I guess the western media will never tell you this simple fact that all Chinese can access all websites outside China with just one more click, but most Chinese choose not to cause not many Chinese like to check non Chinese language websites. Only foreigners living in China can pass the information to their brainwashed friends in the west.

Western media tries to manipulate people into believing that Chinese people can't access websites outside China and they know nothing about what's going on in the world. Whoever post anything good about China must be 50cent paid commuist bot and all Chinese people hate their government... I can see here first hand how many foreigners being brainwashed so deep and constantly say those lines to Chinese posters here.

China’s migrant workers worried by dwindling jobs, low pay, as US trade war impact runs deep

Factories are increasingly relying on temporary workers or dispatched labour, who come from labour agencies and do not have a contract with the factory itself.

The well-being of workers like Li is a cause for concern for China’s decision makers and the risks of mass unemployment are at the top of the agenda for Beijing as there are growing signs of job market stress in places and sectors affected by the trade war with the United States. China’s official jobless data paints a stable employment picture, although it generally does not include migrant workers.

Fewer jobs and lower pay within the manufacturing sector could hurt China’s long-term plan of relying on domestic consumption to boost the economy, as stagnated income levels for the country’s 280 million migrant workers could limit their spending power.

Yes most Singaporeans would not want to live under the CPC. This is because they are Singaporeans and not Chinese. It's like asking Canadians if they want to live under the rule of U.S. government. And yes, the initial protests were big but numbers have shrunk considerably since then. The protesters has been too radical and is bleeding popular support. But just to humor your assertion that most citizens of Hong Kong is against the Chinese Government, what can they do? Chinese government will sooner roll the tanks in before allowing independence.

Do you know that story where a man is Forced to bow to the king to get back safe to his family and when he get there, he tells his wife and kids... How great that king is...

Is the argument that people of HK should give up all their freedoms and liberties for economic growth?

By that logic, what will happen once the growth slows/stop?
Will you argue that when that happens then the CPC should give up power?
HK people never had the so-called univesal suffrage.
You should have asked the same question before 1997.

Honestly, when the time he wrote something like "HK people should give up their freedom and liberties in exchange economic growth" and "two million out to protest", then I know he is a victim of western propaganda. Just ignore him, since you won't get anything meaningful out of him.

sure, I will travel back in time and do so.

But my original question still stands.

The CPC bases their legitimacy on growth rate.
Does that mean when the rate stops growing then the CPC will not be legitimate?

So based on your theory, free media or speech and human right over writes corruption and incompetency of government?
