You missed a lot of his point to follow what we are saying here. His point is Chinese ASAT can destroy the GPS system by destroying all GPS satellite. I told him these Satellite have self defence mechanism and was employed in a height over current tested ASAT range. Then he said these GPS satellite are likely undefended...

I have followed the conversation and came to the conclusion that "star wars" US program to put lasers on satellites didn't come to fruition, hence the GPS satellites might at best have some ECM capabilities that most modern missiles know how to deal with by ECCM..

no. I am not talking about "Star War" type countermeasurement. That's what he said

I cannot talk about this, but there exist certain counter measurement to defeat missile, chaff and decoy is one of them, not all of them, there are many other thing a Military Satellite can do, and at that range, slightest error will be taken most advantage on the defensive side. You don't need Star War type anti-missile defence to defeat a Missile that far up in the sky.

Yes, you can jam a satellite by either blind the satellite or spam the bandwidth of a Satellite.

The first would involve a way to blind the signal of the satellite, while the second would initiate illegal log in to used up all the bandwidth of a satellite so the legitimate user cannot use it. But Boeing and LM or Thale is or already finished working a way to go around this.
