Impressive indeed. But in fact this was more like 1200th anniversary of Poland. Poland as a state exist since prince Chościsko - father of Piast Kołodziej and founder of Piast dynasty. Unfortunately pre-christian history of Poland is often ignored. In Russia nobody ignore Rurik.
It's because of foreign pedo-catholic church in Poland. You in Russia are lucky to have your own strong church - Orthodox Church.
