The BJP’s approach is based on the assumption that the predominantly Hindu Tamils could be persuaded to embrace Hindu nationalism based on Hindutva, which calls for a homogeneous identity for all Hindus by eschewing other markers, languages and cultures.

This runs counter to Tamil nationalism, which derives its identity from language and rejects religion as a marker of Tamil identity.

not south India, its only Tamils who consider themselves to be different culturally and racially. Other south Indian states are pro Hindi and India, thats why they dont oppose Hindu (or Indian) nationalism - such as Hindi/Sanskrit impositions. Its Tamils who oppose Hindi and Hindutva ideology since pre/post independence.

The reasons are :
1) they have no affinity to Dravidian politics or Dravidian ideology
2) they despise/hate and distrust for Tamils (can be elaborated further in subsequent post)
3) closer cultural/racial alignment with Hindutva ideology regarding Sanskrit, most South Indian languages (except Tamil has significant Sanskrit influence ) Hindi/Hindu-Hindustan
4) due to their weak history/culture , racial identity, they have strong attachment to Indian nationalism

Who are Prominent Leadership in South India becasue the main stream "Mafia India" only focuses on either the Gujrat segment or the family politics , the South Side of India is never well represented even in media

When I have interacted with South Indian folks they are quite different more socially aware of nature and surrounding , and doing social work

Similar to Sikh cuture which is drastically different from Modi group

now theres a mini revolution (revival of Dravidian/Tamil nationalism) against Brahmanism, Hindiá and Hindutva in Tamilnadu , just that it get Indian media attention

Hindutva or RSS ideology, is getting good leverage in Tamilnadu. Tamil nationalism got crushed permanently, when LTTE was disbanded and destroyed. It is only a matter of time, RSS Hindutva replaces traditional culture in Tamilnadu.

There is none and will have none in the future to rally the southern states as India plays the divide and rule politic effectively, e.g these states are fighting over water. Furthermore these states collectively will never be united and look upon Tamilnadu / Tamils (except brahmins) with contempt (i.e anti nationals)

South India are different. Majority of South Indians still retain and follow the original Hindu culture and tradition. North Indian culture has been corrupted due to Muslim invasions.

Sindis, Punjabis, Baloch and Pushtoons are very different but Pakistan only projects Punjabi culture.

Because there isn't a seperatist movement in Tamil Nadu or any states bar a north east state.
