this is the standard practice of reporting a news by media. There could be a mass shooter who openly fires on public and take many innocent lives but once he is caught and despite the fact many video evidences are there.. the media usually reports with terms such as “suspect”.. “alleged” etc

It does, actually, and on a much larger scale than you might think. But of course, it's usually swept under the rug as so called "suicide".

Bro, forced to Sati probably have meant mentally haranguing her about it and forcing her to mentally accept it. Like families force girls to marry against their wish. All sort of emotional blackmail. Not necessarily at gun point.
