The Indian government is either really stupid to buy into the line of thinking being promoted by some (that the US has a bounty for HS's head) or is deliberately distorting the issue and misleading Indians into thinking the US has done more than it actually has.

Quite frankly, what the whole 'US bounty for information leading to Hafiz Saeed's conviction' has done is to validate the Pakistani position that there is not enough evidence currently to implicate HS in the Mumbai Attacks or any other case of terrorism.

We do not give out contracts, because, they make us happy. Examples nuclear power contracts and MMRCA contract. We give contracts to people who give us value. Examples French, Russians and Israelis. The only contracts currently with the Americans is what they give best value in...attack choppers, heavy lift and strategic airlift.
