Help me. What is a good Android tablet?

I have a Google Pixel XL phone and my old outdated Ipad 2 is simply pathetic. I want a new tablet. So what do you guys suggest? Should be 10 display and minimum 3GB RAM. Best would be Android Nougat as running system.

I use an ipad mini 3 and find it to be the perfect size, not too large and not too small. You can hold it with one hand.

Seriously, for me, there isn't any good tablet on the market. I don't want to use Linux because it doesn't run my favorite windows applications. The windows tablets are pathetic, except for the Surface, which in its current form is too pricy and doesn't give the bang for buck that I want. BUT, if you want features today, Surface is the way to go. Seriously, my manager uses it and it just changes the way you do work. Of course, it doesn't fit the 500 euro price range...

I have used both android and windows tablet and I love windows 10 tablet performance I had (although HP Omni has some hardware issues)

Man it has BIOS issue, but Windows 10 is awesome I even had WP10 cellphone both are awesome but still have margin for improvement.

I want the hardware+software to just work. I am not satisfied with an awesome software but hardware glitches, or the other way around. A tablet is supposed to make life easier and pain free. The Surface is getting there, and I might wait for the next iteration before buying it. Or, my manager may sell his old one to me when he shifts to the next version.

Trouble with Android is for any meaningful application you need a google account. I am so much against google's lack of concern for privacy, I do not have a google account. In my current android phone I have never entered a google id, meaning I have never been able to install any application. And out of the box, they don't even come with installed games. I curse google every single time I use this phone but I'll still not create a google account. F them I say.
