Anyone underestimating the American weapons systems---do so at their own peril.

When you are so far ahead of anyone in technology---others have no way of judging what the issues are and how critical the situation is till you have the ability to produce something similar.

Right now everyone is dragging way behind---. People should understand that you are not fighting an F35 or an F22 by itself---there is a whole battle group that you need to confront---and there is none that can even come close.

Reading the article, American standards are simply higher or awesome. F35 is a good plane. If India or China had succeeded in building this, and developed for half time duration of F35 we would have bragged it and declared in success.

Yeah, the F-35 is such a lemon that there have been many espionage attempts for it from multiple different countries.

Take a step back and look at the big picture for a moment and see something interesting...

The critics are those who have never served in the military and probably can barely tell the differences between a hammer and a screwdriver, while their military and scientists are eager for any scrap of technical information of American 'stealth' technology, by hook or by crook, that comes their way as they struggles to make their own versions of the American 'trash' aircraft and/or changes of combat tactics to counter the same 'trash' which they have never been on the receiving end of.

When I transferred from the F-111 to the F-16, there were plenty of 'horror' stories about the F-16 during its development. Anything from too small to be combat worthy to too unstable for the pilot to be effective. Now the F-16 is the standard for all to match.

Every piece of American military equipment has an extremely long toothing.

Same with the M16/M4 family, M1 tank, F15/F22, etc...
